Applause-o-gram
Columbus Community Services values the contributions and hard work of our most valuable asset:
our staff. As a way of showing appreciation, we want to publicly acknowledge those who
demonstrate certain admirable qualities and serve as positive role models for others.
This person will be chosen from nominations submitted by peers, supervisors, and Regional
Managers. The staff chosen from each region will be highlighted on the Columbus Community
Services web site at the end of the month. At the end of the year, CCS will select a grand
prize winner from each region and place their picture and story on the web site.
When deciding who among you is deserving of recognition, here are some suggestions made by
many of you about what makes an employee stand out:
- Always brings practical solutions to problems faced
- Consistently demonstrates professionalism with peers and when dealing with those in the community
- Is a good team player
- Is a positive representative of Columbus
- Demonstrates commitment to individuals we serve
- Will go the "extra mile" when he/she sees a need
- Is always respectful and courteous to others
- Produces high quality work regardless of circumstances
- Has a positive influence on the team and office
- Overcomes significant obstacles to advocate for and enhance the lives of consumers
When submitting an applause-o-gram, please note that your name will also appear on the web
site as the person under "nominated by." Submissions must be made to the Regional Manager for
whom the person works by the 15th of the month in order to be considered for the next month.
Any CCS employee can nominate another for this recognition.

Lakeisha Swinson, Support Coordinator - Southeast Region |
Nominated by: Jennifer Eason, Loretta Ray |
|
Lakeisha Swinson not only works to meet the needs of people on her own caseload, but also helps other Support Coordinators. Lakeisha always has a wonderful attitude and is constantly offering to help others. She helped cover an additional caseload while a fellow employee was away for medical leave, which meant she had to travel extensively, conduct extra ISP meetings, and complete all of the DHR reports and progress notes, all in addition to her regular job duties. She goes above and beyond the call of duty and her coworkers feel she greatly deserves an award for all she does.
