Consumer Advisory Panel

Columbus Community Services is committed to providing supports and services to people with developmental disabilities and their families that are responsive to the needs and desires of the people we serve. We also recognize that these needs and desires can change over time. One of the ways we can keep our services "fresh" is to have ongoing input and feedback from you.

For these reasons, each region we serve has a local Consumer Advisory Panel. The Panel has up to 20 members, representing people with disabilities, families and others from throughout the region. It meets at least quarterly, but more often as the members identify a need to do so. Activities will include assisting in the design and review of our consumer satisfaction instruments and other quality assurance procedures, reviewing and providing input on policy initiatives, and suggesting topics for regional and statewide trainings.

The membership will rotate periodically so that we can learn from as many people as possible. If you are interested in participating as a member of the Panel in your region, please complete the form below and submit it on line. Or, if you prefer, you may call your local Columbus Community Services office.

We also want to be sure our membership is as diverse as our communities. Please tell us about yourself.
